Amy's house.
12 Melsomby Road, Northern Moor, Manchester.

We started filming the opening shots of the three characters in the bedroom at Amy's house, we later re-filmed these scenes at Ashleigh's house due to better mise-en-scene to connote a Gothic stereotype and also due to lighting issues.
However, we used this location, pictured above right, for scenes such as when the characters are walking downstairs. This was because Amy's stairs had an easier angle to film from. We were able to achieve a better side and front view, whereas at Ashleigh's, only a front view would've been achievable.
We also filmed the bus stop scene at the top of Amy's road, along Sale Road. Also pictured on the above left. This busstop was also easy to film from as it was in the local area near to one of the houses we filmed in, this enables the mise-en-scene to flow and to also denote an urban area. It was also at a good angle to get a long shot of not only the characters but the street and traffic too.
